Recharging Yourself

As we are still early in 2016, I have been juicing and thinking of ways to stay healthy through the winter and into the rest of the year. I have been committed to my weightlifting workout at the gym, but I still want to find ways to recharge so I can keep getting up early. I find that it is generally easier not to follow through when it is cold, dark or when I get home from work.
I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions, but if I had to pick one for 2016 it would be to focus on recharging my mind, body and spirit. Recharging is important for everyone, even if you are mourning the loss of a loved one. Your grief may seem overwhelming, but that doesn’t mean you can’t allow yourself time to recharge and give yourself permission to unwind and relax.
I think it is very important if you are grieving to allow yourself to find times to relax and de-stress doing something you enjoy. This doesn’t take away from your grief, but allows you to continue to care for yourself in mind, body and spirit.
As we try to find ways to recharge in 2016, I am sharing a green juice and red juice recipe. I use a masticating juicer to make my recipes.
Blessings,
Will
