Joseph T. Iglesias, age 75, of Quincy, and formerly of the Philippines, died on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 8:17 p.m. in Columbia University Medical Center in Columbia, MO.

Joseph was born on July 2, 1947 in the Philippines, a son of Mansueto Iglesias and Maxima Tingal. On August 29, 1969 he married Helen Leyte in the Philippines. She survives.

Joseph enjoyed working with his hands, especially when he was working on home improvements or working in his garden. Joseph also appreciated education, and he was a life-long learner. As an adult, he attended John Wood Community College, where he received several certificates and diplomas, including certificates in Welding and Criminal Justice.

In addition to his wife, Helen, survivors include three children: Joel, Josephine, and Jonalyn Iglesias, all of the Philippines; eight grandchildren: Tristan, Gabby, and Tonton Iglesias; Faisal Iglesias; and Jillan, Ella, and twins, Echo and Encho, Mamaril, all of the Philippines; three sisters: Ann (Gene) Dannar of Barrington, NH; Marietta Raymundo of the Philippines; and Virginia (Roger) Sharrow of golden, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carlito Iglesias.
