Obituary
Randy Huddleston , age 57, Quincy, died Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 4:15 am in Blessing Hospital.
Randy was born July 19, 1965 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Lawrence and Marilyn Pruett Huddleston.
Randy grew up on a farm in Missouri and graduated from North Shelby High School in Shelbyville, MO. Randy was injured in a swimming accident shortly before his 21st birthday which left him a quadriplegic. Many of us would have folded that hand and given up; not Randy. His mind remained sharp and he had a memory like no other. He never complained. Randy loved sports. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, and the Mizzou Tigers. He was a jokester and had a great sense of humor.
Randy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He truly believed that it was God that held his head above the water on that terrible day
