Sorry to read of Fred's death. A gentleman in every respect, he was always good for a hello and best wishes. Peace be with his family and friends.

The Ayers family has known Fred since the 60s as neighbors and friends. Marilyn and David were so fond of Fred and Carol. I have fond memories of growing up with Cindy and continuing our friendship over the years to the present. Fred and Carol were always good to me when I visited, or during our car pools. Fred was always friendly and engaging when I’d see him. We are all so sorry to hear of his passing!! He’s with Carol now so that is a blessing. Love and hugs to the surviving family!

We worked at Morgan Auto out of Payson for many years so were blessed to know Max, Fred & Myron. We're saddened to read of his passing but rejoice that he's reunited with Carole. Sympathies to the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

We mourn the passing of "Freddy". Fred was as loyal a friend as one could ask for. Our "needs" were Fred's needs. Even after we left Quincy in 1984-85, we still maintained contact with each other. Whenever one of our Florida hurricanes was in our area, Fred would call to make sure we were OK. We recall, as well, our close friendship with Fred's wife, Carole, and we were fortunate to be able to visit them while they were living in California. And, who can forget the early Dogwood Festivals !!

We were able to visit with Fred during several trips back to Quincy, the latest being in October of last year, 2021. We recounted some of our numerous escapades, and re-hashed our common interest of Ham Radio.

Fred, and his family, contributed much to the Quincy community, the benefits of which will be realized for years.

Our condolences to Cindy, Mark, and the rest of Fred's extended family.
