Miss you, Aunt Sherry. Growing up, you took me under your wing and helped me shop for school clothes in St. Louis. You doted on my children and welcomed my friends. You were like my second mother.

I am deeply saddened over the passing of Sherry McArthy who was my first cousin, and a lifelong friend. There is an old family picture with our parents and extended family where Sherry was about 3 and I was 18 months.
Throughout our lives, we talked, laughed and shared a strong bond we learned from our parents who were such good friends. Although we never lived nearby, Sherry made sure to keep open all lines of communication, especially regarding family news. She will be dearly missed. I send my love and deepest sympathy to her daughter, Sherry Anne.

So very sorry for your mothers passing
Remember this:

Your Mother is always with you. She’s the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street, she’s the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself.

She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not feeling well, she’s your breath in the air on a cold winter’s day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow. Your mother lives inside your laughter.

She’s the place you came from, your first home, and she’s the map you follow with every step you take. She’s your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space, not even death.
