Obituary
Sandra Kay 'Sandi' Crabill, age 79, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11:50 pm in Good Samaritan Home.
Sandi was born on August 30, 1942 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of George Stanford and Lucille Syrcle Hickman. She married Lloyd M. Crabill on February 1, 1985 in Quincy, Illinois. He survives.
Sandi graduated from Bowen High School in 1960 and from Gem City College in 1961. She worked for ten years at American Cyanamid in Palmyra, Missouri and then for 21 years for J. M. Huber, where she retired as a Senior Scale Operator. Sandi was a former member of Payson Road Christian Church and a Past Worthy Advisor of Bowen Rainbow Girls and Past Grand Representative from Illinois to New Hampshire for Rainbow Girls. Sandi was a member of Eastern Star in Palmyra.
Survivors in addition to her husband include two step-children, Roger (Stephanie) Crabill of Palmyra and Jeanna (Marvin) Mowen of Quincy; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Bill Crabill of Quincy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a step grandson Devon Crabill, and two brothers-in-law, Leland and Wayne Crabill.
Visitation: 9:00 to 11:00 am on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
Services: 11:00 am on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Disseler officiating.
Burial: South Side Cemetery, Clayton, Illinois
