Jack Hadley Recksieck

Jack Hadley Recksieck, age 76, of Quincy, died Sunday, June 6, 2021, at 6:55 pm in his home.
Jack was born April 7, 1945 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Wilbur W. and Helen Hadley Recksieck. He married Patricia "Patty" Toland on October 8, 1988 in Hannibal, MO. She survives.
Jack attended Quincy Public Schools, graduating from Quincy High School in 1963. He went on to attend Western Illinois University and Quincy College. He served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1965 to 1971. Jack had worked at Motorola, St. Mary Hospital and Gem City Collection Services. He retired from Prairie Farms Dairy after 30 years of service. After retirement he worked part time at Poage Auto Plaza. Jack was a member of the Quincy Boat Club as the secretary for 29 years, Quincy Elks Lodge 100, Quincy Shriners, and Herman Lodge #39 A. F. & A. M. In his spare time, Jack enjoyed boating, bowling, taking long road trips with family and friends, and playing cards. He was an avid Quincy Blue Devil fan and loved the Florida Gators football team.
In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his two daughters, Rochelle Lyn "Shelli" (Fiancé' Dave Harris) Recksieck and Stephanie Rae (significant other Lance SeRine) Recksieck, both of Orlando, FL; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Howard and Ginger Toland of Augusta, IL; and his furry friend, Bentley.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
Services: 10:00 am Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Rev Steve Disseler officiating.
Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery in Augusta, Illinois
Visitation: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday June 11, 2021 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Masonic Rites at 7:00 p.m.
