Yelondia Gale Braxton

Yelondia Gale Braxton, age 58, of Quincy, died Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 6:31 pm in Blessing Hospital.
Gale was born December 17, 1962 in Louisiana, Missouri, the daughter of Harper and Winona Cannon Allison. She was married to the love of her life, Harold Braxton, and they had been together for 35 years.
Gale was a graduate of Bowling Green High School in Bowling Green, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. Gale worked as a RN in the Quincy area.
Gale loved music and epically lifting her voice in song. She was a wonderful cook and often catered meals for family and friends. Gale was a free spirit who loved life and caring for others. She cherished her family.
Gale survived by her husband, Harold; her two children, Nicolle York of FL, and Xavier Talton, Sr. of Quincy; two grandchildren, Camden and Maddilyn York; brothers and sisters, Michelle Mitchell, Carol Allison, Juni Allison, Ronald Allison, Kenneth Cannon, and Leticia Clark, all of Missouri, and Evan Allison of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gale was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, Xavier Talton, Jr. and Jasper York, and a brother, Harold Allison.
A private family memorial will be held to Celebrate Gale's life.
