Randall was born December 29, 1946 in Columbia, Missouri, a son of Russell E. and Mary Jean Jones Sapp. He married Mary Jo Ohnemus on July 6, 1996 in Quincy. She survives.
Randall was a 1964 graduate of Quincy High School. After graduation, Randall honorably served in the United States Navy for four years. Randall had been employed as a machinist for Quincy Compressor for 42 years. Randall loved animals, and over the years he raised many cats and dogs. He was a member of Quincy American Legion Post 37 and a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
In addition to his wife, Mary Jo, survivors include: a stepson, Monty R. (Jennifer) Decker; three granddaughters: McKenzie, Megan, and Macie Decker; two grandsons, Bryer and Kruz Decker; two great grandchildren, Karsyn Bartz and Brystal Decker; his brother, John Sapp; and his sister, Ellen Beilsmith.
Randall was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Gayle Wesolowski.
Services: 12:15 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Quincy Memorial Park Mausoleum with Pastor Andre Harper officiating. Please bring a mask if you plan on attending the service.
Burial: Quincy Memorial Park, Quincy, Illinois with Military Honors by American Legion Post 37 and the United States Navy Funeral Honors Detail.
Visitation: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Tuesday February 9, 2021 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Please bring a mask if you plan on attending the visitation.
