The 4-H program, especially in Adams County, mourns the loss of a mentor and friend to many that she knew. Julie affected the lives of countless 4-H members as she served as a judge for the 4-H General Show and also as a Superintendent for the 4-H Sheep and Goats Show. Those duties were merely titles and does not take into account the impact and interactions she made in all aspects of 4-H as she assisted whenever and where ever was needed. She is and will forever remain a positive role model for youth and for the 4-H program as well. We are blessed to have her serve Adams County 4-H in such a heartfelt capacity. Our thoughts and prayers extend to the family. Thank you for sharing your time with her and Julie we will miss you!
Dear Dan, Beth, Jennifer, Johanna, and Bryan,
You have all been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard about Julie's sudden death. I always enjoyed Julie when we visited the farm. She always had stories to share about what was happening on the farm esp. with the cattle. She shared her talents and knowledge and was very generous. Now, she is celebrating her new life with God and all her relatives who have gone before us. God be with all of you.

Dan and Beth, we are shocked to hear of your loss. Please accept our sympathy and we will be praying for your family. JD and Nancy Albsmeyer
My dear niece,
How I wish I had more time with you. I love the memories of you, Jen, Jo, and Bryan when you were little and the Christmas holidays we had together at your house.
With your own nieces and nephew, I enjoyed watching you pick them up and carry them over your shoulder while they grinned from ear to ear.
I will think of you every day.
Love, Aunt Barb
Dan & Family,
I'm as much in shock at hearing the news of Julie's passing as everyone else is. I just worked with her this past Sep. 12th in weighing and loading out cattle for the Alliance, just like we had done together for the past 14 years. I'll miss her smile, our conversations, and her willingness to help me get things done no matter the task.
You all have my deepest sympathies and condolences for your untimely loss, Julie was a wonderful person and I'll miss her.

Sorry for her loss. We will be unable to attend. She was always happy go lucky. Our family got the pleasure of meeting her at the Henry County Fair many years ago showing goats. She never really knew a stranger. Fly High Julia!
