Adelia Ann Mitts, 95, a resident of Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Montgomery, Alabama (formerly of Quincy, Il.) died Friday, January 28, 2000 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

She was born June 20, 1904 in Quincy, Il. the daughter of John Klocke and Charlotte Hauter Klocke.

She married Edwin Stoermer who preceded her in death in 1950 and married Thomas Mitts who preceded her in death in 1967.

Mrs. Mitts had worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in Quincy. She moved to California in 1951.

Survivors include a nephew, Gene Klocke and his wife Phyllis, Montgomery, Alabama; a niece, Joanne Sparrow and her husband Bill, Quincy, Il.great nieces & nephews and several cousins, .

She also was preceded in death by her sister Ethel Klocke and 2 brothers John and Harold Klocke

Funeral Services will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, February 2, at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev. Leland Uden officiating. Burial in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois.
