The Visitation, Funeral and Cremation with a Graveside package is a full service cremation that most people would describe as a “traditional funeral” with the one difference being that cremation would take place before the committal service at the cemetery, and that an urn would be buried instead of a casket. The main features of this package include: a public visitation held at the funeral home or another location, a funeral ceremony held at the funeral home or another location, cremation, and a committal ceremony at the cemetery. This package also provides for the expert preparation of your loved one for public viewing, and use of all the appropriate automotive equipment including, but not limited to, a hearse and limousine. This package includes a casket, an urn, and the creation of a professional video tribute for the visitation and service, which is presented on a DVD and is the family’s to keep. The video tribute can also be displayed on our website, with the online obituary, so that is can be shared with out of town family and friends.

Memorial Service & Visitation – $5,945
The Memorial Service with Visitation package is an option for families who prefer cremation, but are not interested in having a viewing, yet still want to have a formal visitation and funeral ceremony. The main features of this package include: a public visitation held at the funeral home or another location followed by a memorial service, and the use of all the appropriate automotive equipment. The visitation and/or funeral ceremony may take place before or after the cremation is performed, depending on whether or not the family would like the inurned ashes present. We will also provide temporary preservation through embalming or refrigeration, based upon the family’s preference, and preparation for a private viewing. Although there is no public viewing, we will schedule a time for a private viewing. This private viewing primarily serves to provide a positive identification of your loved one prior to the cremation, but it also allows any family members to say their final goodbyes, if they want that opportunity. This package includes a limited choice of urns, and the creation of a professional video tribute for the visitation and memorial service, which is presented on a DVD and is the family’s to keep. The video tribute can also be displayed on our website, with the online obituary, so that is can be shared with out of town family and friends.

Cremation Without Services – $4,345
This package may also be described as a “direct cremation”. In this case, a cremation takes place without any formal ceremony at all. Once we transport your loved one into our care, we will provide temporary preservation through refrigeration or embalming, based up the family’s preference, and shelter them until all the necessary authorization and permits for the cremation have been secured. Once all the State and local legal requirements have been met, we will schedule an appointment with the local crematory. Families are not required to purchase a casket for a direct cremation, however the crematory does require that your loved one be in some form of sturdy, leak-proof container for transportation and handling prior to the cremation. In order to comply with that requirement, we supply a heavy duty, wax-lined, corrugated cardboard box. This alternative container is then transported to the crematory at the appointed time by a licensed funeral director who witnesses it being placed into the cremation device. The actual cremation process takes several hours followed by an equivalent cool down period. Once the cremation is complete, we pick the ashes up from the crematory, place them in an urn, and return them to the family.
