25 Tips for Suicide Survivors

When you are grieving the suicide loss of a loved one, your emotions can run high and low from one moment to the next.  You are in turmoil and have been through a traumatic experience.

You may have anger amidst the tears and you probably have a lot of “why” questions running through your mind.  As you begin to learn to live and cope with your loss, I have found an online article that gives helpful suggestions for survivors.

Some of these tips/suggestions may be helpful and some may not.   No one can prescribe a solution or correct path for your journey through grief because it is your journey.

The article is titled, “Beyond Surviving: Suggestions for Survivors” by Iris M. Bolton.  It is online at suicidology.org, which is another website and resource for survivors.
