Yvonne E. Cochran, age 70, of Quincy, died Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 5:50 am.

Yvonne Cochran | Hansen-Spear Funeral Home - Quincy, ILYvonne was born March 25, 1947 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Antonius J. and Betty Schutte Geeraedts. She married Robert Cochran on March 9, 1979 in Vandalia, Missouri. He survives.

She was truly loved by her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Robert, Yvonne is survived by her son, Christopher (Lori) George of Quincy; a daughter, Cobi (John) Zimmer of Hannibal, MO; and five grandchildren, Jordan, Whitney, Sam, Lydia, and Lauryn.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Rachelle, a grandson, Tyler, and a brother, Michael Geeraedts

Services: 10:00 am Monday, May 22, 2017 at Greenmount Cemetery, with Rev. Larry Connour officiating.

Visitation: there will be no visitation, as per Yvonne’s wishes.

Burial: Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois

    I’m so sorry to lose my childhood friend and so sorry for your loss. Yvonne was too sweet, too beautiful and too young to have left us so soon. I’m in shock. We will all miss her.
