Ronald L. Jansen

Ronald L. Jansen , age 61, of 1914 N. 400th Avenue, Plainville, IL died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at 2:25 pm in Blessing Hospital.

Ronald was born November 3, 1950 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of LeRoy Robert and Patsy Garner Jansen. He married Mary Ann Homan on June 27, 1970 in Liberty, IL. She survives.

Ronald had been a self employed truck driver who loved stock car races and his new puppy, Candy Cane. He was also a former Road Commissioner for Richfield Township.

Survivors in addition to his wife include: his mother, Patsy Jansen; a sister, Patricia (Kenneth) Dopheide; a brother, Jerry L. (Donetta) Jansen; his mother-in-law Annabelle Homan and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy R. Jansen and his father-in-law, James W. Homan.

Private graveside services were held in Greenmount Cemetery.

  4. Patsy, Patricia and family, sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. Ron and I had a nice visit a couple of years ago at the Farm Store, caught up on a lot of past times. Still remember when you lived next to Q-stadium when we kids were young. My, have times changed over the years. May God rest Ron and his Dad’s soul and give you peace at this time. Dale and Jenny
