Paula “Jill” Schulten, age 67, of Quincy, died on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 10:45 pm in her home.

Paula Jill Schulten | Hansen-Spear Funeral Home - Quincy, IllinoisJill was born December 30, 1950 in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of Dexter and Betty L. “Bea” James McNett. She married Michael Schulten on March 12, 1995 in Quincy, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2013.

Jill retired from the Untied States Post Office in Quincy after 30 years as a postal clerk. She loved her horses and animals, and she always fed the birds. Jill loved driving her truck, and she could do anything when she put her mind to it.

Survivors include her two best friends, Diana Warning and Carolyn Dempsey, both of Quincy; and other family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Jill was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kevin Greg McNett and Mark Clay McNett.

Services: Following Jill’s wishes, she was cremated and no services are planned.

    We have lost a truly good person, always enjoyed watching Jill ride up our road on her horse or taking Cutter for a walk, Cutter loved it when Jerry was outside, Jill couldn’t hold her back.
