  8. Deepest sympathy for your loss. It brought back the memories of the Culver Stockton girls basketball days. Prayers are with you at this difficult time.

  9. Our deepest sympathy for the family. Mike was not only our chiropractor, but we also considered him our friend. His office always made you feel welcome. We are glad we got to know him, and will miss him.

  10. “Keep Smiling” is what Dr. Mike would say to me after each visit for over 30 years of coming to him. I can’t say I have ever known a person as compassionate, and carring towards others as Mike was. He wasn’t just a doctor, he was a good friend. It is a blessing having the chance to have known him. So Cheryl, “Keep Smiling”, as deaply as he will be missed, let it be a comfort to know he is with our Lord.

  11. Dr. Stratton was a kind and loving person. His time with us all too short. But he is not far away, nor is he in any pain. He is with God and happy. We will miss him very much. I pray that your grief be short and that the kind Holy Spirit will comfort you always.

  15. Cheryl and Family; our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. What a true Christian Doc Stratton was. He was always kind, thoughtful and caring to my wife and I. He always took time for us when we were his patients – and I know that he was that way for so many. I know that he was a strong rock for many people and found myself at times, opening my heart and pouring it out to him while I was in the room for an adjustment. He was simply a good man. We are so sorry for your loss. With sympathy and prayer.

  16. I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Stratton’s passing. For twenty-four years I have been coming to his office for treatment. Dr. Mike dedicated his life to chiropractic care, nutrition, and the total health and well being of his patients. He was kind, gentle, and caring. Through the years we spoke of many things and he came to know me very well. Dr. Mike had the special gift of establishing this relationship with all of his patients.

It was heartwarming to hear Dr. Stratton speak with love and pride of his family. Of course this included his life partner Cheryl. They worked side by side in the practice and were very charitable in helping others.

My thoughts, prayers, and sympathies are with Cheryl and the family during this difficult time. As you mourn his passing, celebrate Dr. Michael Stratton’s life, and remember his parting words to all his patients, “Keep smiling.”

  17. We are so sorry to hear of your loss… Our hearts are saddened at this news and we will be in prayer for the entire family. We always heard amazing things about “Michael’s dad”…

  18. Deepest sympathy to Cheryl and family from all the Kathmanns who grew up next to all the Hodels. Maybe we didn’t know Mike except when we saw the family gathering for various reasons over on spruce street, but certainly enough to know that he was a kind and loving man happy to chat a while. Several times when only our dad ,Harry, was still living at 1410 Mike brought his tractor to plow the snow from dad’s driveway .Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you .

  19. Cheryl my heart goes out to you and your family. I feel honored to have known Dr. Stratton. He always had a smile on his face and was genuinely interested in his patients. What a wonderful man who will be missed.

  20. Cheryl, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. While I am truely saddend by Doc’s passing I cant help but rejoice in knowing where he is. Talking to him and being treated by him was like spending time with my own father. He is one the finest Christian men I have ever known and what a blessing he was to me. What a fine example for young fathers to emulate. He will be missed. Matthew Akright and family

  23. Dr. Stratton was always a kind of father figure to me, and he quite literally fixed me physically and spiritually while I went to his clinic. The lessons he has taught me and inspiration he has given me will impact me for the rest of my life. I feel blessed having the chance to know a man like him. He will be dearly missed, and my deepest condolences go out to his friends and family.
