  1. Dear Vicky and family: my condolences and sympathy for your loss. My first memory of Don was when he was our youth Sunday School teacher at Ellington Pres, a LONG time ago. He was always calm…at least on the exterior. When I returned to Quincy many years later, I attended church at Unity of Quincy with Lorraine. Don volunteered many hours of “grounds management”. Spring-autumn he kept the flower beds looking beautiful. In winter he shoveled snow drifts before Sunday services…quietly. Come the monthly potluck, though, he was eager to be there with Lorrie.

  2. Don was such a good man who loved gardening and working In his yard and had a great sense of humor. I was honored to be his friend, and was inspired to go exercise at the Kroc with him (and Lori). He would usually be there 3 days a week. Underlying all of his life was a commitment to a spiritual life and to his family. Love and blessings to his family.

Leave a Condolence
