Arthur R. Tucker, age 58, of Quincy, died Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 4:23 am in Blessing Hospital.

Arthur Tucker | Hansen-Spear Funeral Home - Quincy, ILArthur was born December 15, 1959 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Arthur C. and Lillian Rose Andrews Tucker. On July 1, 1976 he married Theresa Baker in Palmyra, MO. She survives.

Arthur worked as a millwork manager at Menard’s, designing custom doors and windows. He enjoyed watching baseball and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved his dogs, Maple and Gunnar.

Survivors in addition to his wife include: a daughter, Kim Tucker of Quincy; a son, Arthur Aaron Tucker of Peoria, IL; four grandchildren, Alexis Robinstein, Ethan Aaron Tucker, Andrew Tucker Lord, and Lavaya Tucker; two brothers, Steven Tucker, and James Tucker both of Jacksonville, IL; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Tucker.

Services: 2:00 pm Monday, January 8, 2018 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Manago officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Monday January 8, 2018 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home

  1. I just heard the news. I want you to know that I worked with Art for over 15 yrs. He always made me laugh which is the best medicine money can buy. I am so sorry for your loss, he was a good man. My husband worked with him at Walmart for years & we would often go to break together. He too is sorry for your loss. We will keep your family in our thoughts & prayers & we hope that you all get some rest.
