Timothy M. Leahy , age 47 of 934 Hampshire, died Friday, May
30, 2008 at 12:55 a.m. in Blessing Hospital. He was born March 21, 1961 in Quincy the son of Francis, Sr. and Rita Voges Leahy. He attended Quincy Notre Dame High School. Tim worked as an assembler for Knapheide, Intermet , and at Manchester Tank. He was of the Catholic faith and greatly enjoyed playing golf, listening to music and spending time with his family. Survivors include: 3 daughters, Shannon Dye and her husband Brandon of Columbia, MO; Jennie Acres and her husband Michael of Springfield, IL; and Carrie Leahy of Springfield, IL; a son, Timothy Leahy, Jr. of La Grange, MO; six brothers and sisters, Jane Phelan and her husband John of Kansas City, KS; Terry Leahy of FL; Maureen Leahy of Thousand Oaks, CA; Sally Maughan and her husband Dean of Golden, CO; Cindy Leahy of Jefferson City, MO; Matt Leahy and his wife Ellen of Itasca, IL; two grandchildren; River and Landon Acres and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Francis Leahy II, and a sister Susan Leahy. Graveside Services: Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at 1:00 pm in Woodland Cemetery with Father Kurt Hartrich officiating.
