She was born July 24, 1921 in Fall Creek Twp the daughter of Fred and Dora Keil Baker. On February 5, 1950 she married Merle Kuntemeier in Coatsburg, IL. He survives.

She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and a former member of the Adams County Home Extension Unit. She loved to garden, cook and crocheting and reading.

Survivors include a son, Mel Kuntemeier and wife Carol of Glenarm, IL; 2 grandsons, Mark Kuntemeier of Edwardsville, IL, and Joe Kuntemeier and fiance' Emily Burbridge of Springfield, IL; 2 brothers, Lester Baker and wife Agnes, and Ralph Baker and wife Helen; 3 sisters, Charlotte Nesbitt and husband Samuel, Gladys Walz, and Ruth Phillips and husband Ralph, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Donald and a sister at birth.

Services: 11:00 am Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Larry Troxel officiating. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

Visitation: 9:30 am - 11:00 am Saturday, May 17 at Our Redeemer.
