Bridget Gayle Bush, age 37, of 3374
185th St., Wever, Iowa died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at 12:04 am in Ft.
Madison Community Hospital. She was born March 22, 1971 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Bobby Gene Tipton and Lynda Kidd. On July 8, 1995 she married Jason Bush in Quincy, Illinois. He survives. She was a 1989 Quincy High School graduate and attended Gem City Beauty College. She was manager of Claire's in West Burlington, Iowa. Bridget loved to cook, cross stitch and bowl. She was an avid dancer. Bridget was very family oriented. Survivors also include her son, Bryce Bush: her father, Bobby Gene Tipton of Quincy; her mother, Lynda Patterson and husband Floyd "Gene" of Liberty, IL; a brother, Jay Tipton and wife Stacey of Loraine, IL; paternal grandmother, Hazel Tipton of Quincy; her mother-in-law, Sandra Bush of Quincy, a step mother, Karen Tipton, Quincy; two brothers-in-law, Eric Bush and his wife Susan of Minnesota and Jeff Armstrong of Quincy; a sister-in-law Janet Armstrong of Quincy; 2 step-brothers Steve Patterson and his wife Jennifer of Quincy and Danny Werneth of Columbus, MO; and 2 step-sisters Nikki Albright and her husband Cory and Susan Westerman and her husband Randy, all of Quincy, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert Bush, maternal grandparents, A. J. and Josie Lynn Kidd, and paternal grandfather, Donald Tipton. Services: 1:30 pm Thursday at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Pastor John Frank officiating. Burial will be in New Providence Cemetery.
