Francis "John" Klofath , age 86, of
1707 N 12th, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 8:35 am in the Illinois
Veterans Home._022400.jpg) He was born January 26, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois the son of John F. and Marie Hubinek Klofath. John served in the US Marine Corps during WWII as a Japanese Interpreter for the Marines. He received the Bronze Star and The Chinese Special Breast Order of Yun Hui from the Nationalist Government of China. He was a restaurant owner in the Chicago area for many years. Francis was preceded in death by his parents and two sistersVirginia Tamburrino and Margaret Neber. Services: 10:00 am Thursday at All Faiths Chapel with Rev. John Adams officiating.
