She was born August 3, 1927 in Whitehall, IL, the daughter of Luther and Luella Bradley Waller. In 1956 she married Norman Jones in Palmyra, MO. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2002.

She was an active member of the Moose Club, the VFW Ladies Auxilliary, the Northside Boat Club and the Southside Boat Club. She would often cook for special events at these clubs and was well known for her cooking. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards and drinking wine, and taking road trips.

Survivors include: 4 daughters; Mary Hickerson and her husband Michael of Plainville, IL; Sherry Bartz and her husband Wayne of Maywood, MO; Goldie Knuffman and her friend Rick Thomas of Quincy; Phyllis Cheney and her special friend Jerry Iams of Quincy; a son, James Jones and his special friend Teri Allensworth of LaBelle, MO; 27 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by: 2 children, Norman Jones Jr. & Sue Bridgeman; and 2 grandchildren, Ricky Walton & Becky Meyers.

Services: Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at 11:00 am in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Elmer Hagood officiating.

Visitation: Wednesday, June 25, 10 - 11 am. at Hansen-Spear.

Burial: Greenmount Cemetery.
