William E. Anderson, age 65, of 1706 Stull Street, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 3:45 a.m. in Blessing Hospital.

He was born March 16, 1943 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, the son of Harold Edward and Elva Nora Philmore Anderson.

He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army and was a graduate of DeVry Technical Institute. He was a supervisor at Motorola and then an electrician at Moorman's until his retirement from ADM in 2005. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include, 2 sons, David Anderson and his wife Christine  and their son Ryan, of Quincy; and Scott Anderson of Quincy; a sister, Nancy Des Jardin and her husband Ken of East Troy, WI; a brother, Jeff Anderson of Fort Atkinson, WI; a niece, Kim Pontel and her husband Bruce; a nephew, Jim Allen; a very close friend, Jody Daffern, and Kathy Carroll's two children, Cassie Hedges and Mandy Graham.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew Steven and a close friend Kathy Carroll.

Services: Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Disseler officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation: Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
