| Bessie G. Stillwell, 2130 Harrison,
Quincy, died Monday at 6:30 am in Good Samaritan Home. She was born
July 21, 1906 in Hancock County, Illinois the daughter of Clarence and
Olive Williams Ch She was a graduate of Augusta High School. She and her husband owned and operated Stillwell Funeral Home in Augusta, IL. She was a member of Madison Park Christian Church, a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star in Augusta, a member of Chapter AQ, P.E.O., and a volunteer at Blessing Hospital. Survivors include 5 nieces, Ginger Hesse of Quincy, Janet Durst and her husband Kent of Quincy, Linda Drummond and her husband Ronnie of West Point, IL, Barbara Richbourg and her husband Larry of Phoenix, AZ, and Gayle Chambers of Phoenix, AZ; 6 nephews, Gene Chambers and his wife Sylvia of Douglas, GA, Merle Lane, Jr. and his wife Pat of Sigourney, IA, Scott Chambers and his wife Deb of Phoeniz, AZ, Mike Chambers of Rapid City, SD, David Chambers and his wife of Rapid City, SD, Jeff Chambers and his wife Jan of Rapid City, SD, and numerous great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers Harold and Donald Chambers and three sisters, Marjorie Huff, Mildred Krueger, and Doris Lane.
