Roger N. Bryan, age 50, of 2110 Rancho
Blvd., died Friday, March 9, 2007 at 5:31 pm. in Quincy.
He was born March 19, 1956 in Jacksonville, Illinois the son of Everett
E. and Ruth M. Ralston Bryan. On April 26, 1975 he married Sheryl Lovelace in Patterson,
IL. She survives.
He was a 1974 graduate of Pittsfield High School, and worked for
Ameren, in gas tech support, for 26 years. He collected cars and tractors, but his true
passion was playing piano. He played piano for the First Southern Baptist Church, nursing
homes and various other churches in the area. He was a member of First Southern Baptist
Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife include: his son, Christopher K.
Bryan of Owensville, MO; his daughter, Tracy G. Ayala and her husband Jose of
Independence, MO; 3 grandchildren, Colleen E. Mock, Richard A. Ayala and Eric M. Ayala;
and a brother, Palmer E. Bryan of Mineral Wells, TX. He was preceded in death by his
parents and a sister, Ada Ruth White.
Services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in
Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Mount and Rev. Tom Raines officiating. Visitation
will be Monday, from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Memorials made to the Baptist Children's Home in his name would be appreciated.
