She was born November 4, 1970 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Chester and Mary V. Reagan Couchman.

Marcella was a 1989 graduate of Quincy High School. She was an LPN at Blessing Hospital and was to receive her BS Degree in May, 2008 from Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing. She was raised Catholic and had attended Calvary Baptist Church. She loved to spend time with her kids.

Survivors include 2 daughters Claire Blake and Courtney Blake, both of Quincy; her father, Chester Couchman of Quincy; 2 brothers Jeff Couchman and Eric Couchman, both of Quincy; 2 sisters LaDena Steinkamp and her husband Jim of Justin, TX; and Lucinda Couchman of Fort Worth, TX.; 4 nieces and nephews Arryn Lash and Tex Waller of Fort Worth and Cassandra and Zachrey Couchman of Quincy; a close friend Greg Miller of Quincy; and her dog Jake. She was preceded in death by her Mother.

Services will be Thursday, April 5, 2007, at 11 a.m. in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Farlow officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Memorials made to the Children's Educational Fund in her name would be appreciated.
