Janice L. Cunningham, age
58, of 2312 State, died Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 3:10 pm
in Blessing Hospital.
She was born October 12, 1948 in Quincy, Illinois the
daughter of Harold and Wilma Morgan Heck. On July 26, 1974
she married John Cunningham in Quincy.
Janice was employed for 26 years at Quincy University as
office manager of the Maintenance Department. She was also a
certified OSHA inspector. Janice was a member of the Church
of St. Peter and her major interest was her family and
grandchildren.
Survivors in addition to her husband, include her mother,
Wilma Lantz; 3 sons, Paul "Pete" Cunningham, Timothy
Cunningham, and Anthony "Tony" Cunningham, all of Quincy; 4
stepchildren, Lisa Neisen and husband Chris of Ewing, MO;
Rodney Cunningham and wife Missy of Palmyra, MO, Tina Neisen
and husband Craig, and Terry Cunningham, both of Ewing, MO;
21 grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Keppner and husband Tom of
Quincy; a stepsister, Marsha Courtney and husband Wesley of
Quincy; 3 stepbrothers, Roger Lantz and wife Martha, Terry
Lantz and wife Carolyn, and Doug Brace, all of Quincy. She
was also preceded in death by her father and a brother,
Harold "Sonny" Heck and a half brother Jardyn Heck.
Services will begin Monday, July 2, 2007 at 9:30 am with
prayers at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home followed by a funeral
mass at 10:00 am in The Church of St. Peter with Father Dan
Bergbower officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening
from 4-7 at Hansen-Spear with a Wake service at 6:45 pm.
Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials made to
Blessing Cancer Center in her name would be appreciated. |
