Patricia L. Hoener

Patricia L. Hoener, age 84, 1440 North 10th and formerly of 1717 Jefferson St., died Sunday morning, January 28, 2007 at 9:45 A.M. in St. Vincent's Home.

She was born October 28, 1922 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of William H. and Ethel Todd Channon. On July 28, 1949 she married Herbert C. Hoener in Palmyra, Missouri. He survives.

Mrs. Hoener was a 1941 graduate of Quincy High School and attended St. Mary Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as an aide for Betty Pracht in Long Term Care at Blessing Hospital. Mrs. Hoener was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ.

Survivors also include a son, William H. Hoener and his wife Belinda of Quincy; a daughter, Jana Warren and her husband Mark of Muscatine, Iowa; 5 grandchildren Gabriel Hoener and his wife Kellie, Kara Hoener, Jonathan Hoener, Hillary Warren all of Quincy; and Ezra Warren of Muscatine, Iowa; 3 great grandchildren Anna, Tristan, and Blaze Hoener all of Quincy; 3 step grandchildren, Kimberly Sparrow and her husband Michael, Canton, MO, Adam and Jamie Drebes, Quincy; 2 step great grandchildren, Riley and Zachary Sparrow, Canton, MO; 2 sisters Dorothy Kettering of Corpus Christi, TX and Jacqueline Flesner and her husband Lawrence of Edmond, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Betty Slocum and a brother-in-law Paul Kettering.

Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 11a.m. in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Wanda Seydel officiating. Friends are invited to the services. Private graveside services will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Memorials made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association in her name would be appreciated.
