Nadine C. Lusk, age 85, formerly of 1513 Curtis Creek, died on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 1:20 p.m. at Good Samaritan HomeShe was born June 18, 1921 in Quincy, the daughter of William Edward and Viola Julia Heilwagon Arp.On September 5, 1942, she married Myron Lusk in St. Paul's Church in Quincy. He preceded her in death November 3, 2004.Mrs. Lusk was a 1939 graduate of Quincy High School and attended Gem City College. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ; a 30 year member of Beta Sigma Pi and was a volunteer at Blessing Hospital in the Tea Room where she was a buyer for the Gift Shop. She had worked as an Assistant clerk for the Selective Service Board and did Secretarial work and accounting for William Arp Plasterers.Survivors are 3 grandchildren, Deborah Wiley of Hannibal, MO; Daniel Wiley and his wife Linda of Louisiana, MO; and Michael Wiley and his wife Gina of Hannibal, MO; a son-in-law, Larry Schutjer of Hannibal, MO; 9 great grandchildren: a brother, Jack Arp of Quincy; 2 nephews, William Arp of Quincy; and Alan Arp and his wife, of Joliet; 2 nieces, Mary and Susan Arp, both of Quincy.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Gail SchutjerFuneral Services will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Timothy White officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials made in her name to Good Samaritan Home (Forward Way Fund) would be appreciated. |
