Arlis M. Ford, of 7123 McMarney Ave., Oklahoma City, and formerly of 3720 Columbus Road in Quincy, died Wednesday, Fesbruary 7, 2007 at 10:48 PM in Integris Baptist Medical Center, in Oklahoma City.She was born February 13, 1922 in Knox, Indiana the daughter of Ray M. and Martha McCracken Warren. August 19, 1945 she married LeRoy Ford in Bethany, Oklahoma, He preceded her in death on December 14, 1985.She moved to Quincy August 1, 1965 from Onarga, Illinois. She was nurse of the year in 1970 and had worked at Good Samaritan Home for 16 years and was Director of Nurses for 10 of those years..Survivors include 2 daughters, Colleen Brotherton of Loveland, CO, and Kathleen Crowell and her husband Calvin of St. Joseph, IL, a brother, Ray M. Warren and his wife Meredith of Bethany, OK, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 sons, Michael, Patrick and Charles and a sister Isabelle Pierce.Services will be Monday, February 12, 2007 at 10am in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Disseler officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 9 to 10 am at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Home. |
