Robert "Bobby" Lee
Johnson, age 43, of 1301 Horne Street, died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at
9:22 am in Blessing Hospital.
He was born January 17, 1964 in Rushville, IL the son of Robert Lewis
and Betty Lorraine Cumby Johnson. On December 20, 1996 he married
Kimberly Emerson in Quincy, IL. She survives.
He was a graduate of Camp Point Central High School in 1984, and was
employed by Pepsi for 8 years. He was an avid Cubs Fan and a devoted
husband, father and family man.
Survivors also include 2 children, Aimee and Bryce Johnson of Quincy,
IL, 3 stepdaughters, Ashley Hemphill of Bolingbrook, IL, and Jane
Hemphill and Jessica Harker, both of Quincy; 3 granddaughters; 2
brothers, Timothy C. Johnson and wife Holly of Camp Point, IL, and John
"Ed" Johnson and fiance' Shelly Halloway of Kirkwood, MO; one sister,
Rhonda Renee Hillwig and husband Bryan of Camp Point, IL, and numerous
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and
granddaughter Nicolette.
Services will be Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 12 noon in Greenmount
Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Rasche officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00
am until 11:45pm at the Hansen Spear Funeral Home. Memorials may be made
to the Johnson Children's Education Fund. Hansen-Spear Funeral Directors
are in charge of arrangements.
