He was born January 5, 1981 in Quincy the son of Gary and Janet Dennis Allen.

He attended Quincy High School. Nathan was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved NASCAR and was a dedicated Kansas City Chiefs Fan. He had a heart of gold and was a joy to his nieces, nephew and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who loved him so much.

Survivors include his mother Janet of Quincy and his father Gary Allen and his wife Karen of Shawnee, Kansas; his sister, Julie Allen and companion D. J. Douglas of Quincy; step brother Jacob Wiewel, , and a step sister Casey Wiewel, both of Shawnee, KS; nieces De'Onna and Kennady Douglas and nephew, Ty Douglas; his grandmother Ann Dennis of Quincy; a step great grandfather Wayne McDannald of Pittsfield, IL; aunts, uncles and cousins, including Mrs. Rex (Barbara) Holmes of Augusta, IL.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Paul Dennis, paternal grandfather Clayton Allen, and paternal grandmother Norma Allen.

Services will be Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 11 am at the Crossing with Rev. Jerry Harris and Rev. Dave Rosene officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8, 2007 from 4-6 pm at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Bowen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society or his Nephew and Nieces' Education Fund.
