Darlene E. Williamson , age 91 formerly of 2137 S. 23rd St., died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 9:24 a.m. in Country Aire Retirement Estates in Lewsitown, Missouri.

She was born January 6, 1916 in Lamoine Twp., McDonough County, Illinois the daughter of Herbert Gratton and Flossie May Kurry Carper. On April 12, 1933 she married Orin Williamson in Clarence, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1996

She worked at The Plaza restaurant for 22 years. she was a member of Faith Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons: Robert Williamson and his wife, Sharon of Quincy; and Gary Williamson and his wife, Linda of Quincy; six grandchildren: Mark Williamson of Indianapolis, IN; Dana Williamson of Quincy; Paula Forrest and her husband Steve of Quincy; Kary Groom and her husband, Don of Massillon, OH; Amy Williamson of Quincy; and Jason Williamson of Lawrence, KS; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and two sisters: Pauline Rousch of Quincy; and Eleanor Detweiler of Houston, TX. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a grandson, Dillon Williamson

Services will be Friday, April 20, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Pratt and Rev. Ken Worcester officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 19, 4-7 p.m.. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Memorials made to Country Aire Retirment Estates or Adams County Alzheimers Association in her name would be appreciated.
