She was born February 25, 1926 in Ralls County, Missouri, the daughter of Russell K. and Marie Loehrke Lefever. On September 29, 1950, she married Eugene Myers in Hannibal, MO. He survives.

Mrs. Myers had worked as a bookkeeper at B & R Motors in Hannibal and at the Hannibal Grain Terminal. She then worked for Duesterhaus Fertilizer, and for nearly 20 years worked as deputy county treasurer for Thomas McNeil, Adams County Treasurer. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church for over 43 years.

Surviving are her husband Eugene; a daughter, Sandra K. Morgan and her husband Randell of Pontiac, IL, a son, Stephen M. Myers of Quincy, 3 grandchildren Michael Gene Myers and his wife Bonnie of Quincy, Stephanie K. Morgan of San Marcos, TX, and Jacob S. Morgan of Pontiac, a brother, Richard Lefever and his wife Betty of Quincy, 2 sisters Maryetta Welch of Hannibal, MO, and Wanda Yvonne "Bonnie" Dudding of Kettridge, CO and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 12, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. in Hydesburg Cemetery in Hannibal, MO with the Rev. Larry Troxel officiating. Visitation will be Thursday morning at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Memorials made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. in her name would be appreciated.
