Rosalee Humphrey, age 62, of 3825 No. Hawthorne Pl, Peoria,
IL and formerly of Payson died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 8:45 a.m. in the home of her
daughter in Olivette, MO. She was born November
15, 1944 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Wesley and Dorothy Shinn Blake.
She was a graduate of Payson Seymour High School and Quincy College. She
finished the dental hygiene program at Illinois Central College, and was Office Manager
for Marcin Dental in Peoria for 20 years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Peoria where
she was involved with their Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. She was a member of the
Illinois Dental Hygiene Association, Cursillo, Via de Cristo and she was a very active
grandmother.
Survivors include her mother in Olivette, MO; a daughter, Leanne
Lustgarten and her husband Eli of Olivette, 2 grandchildren, Alexander and Samuel
Lustgarten; a sister, Dorothy Hughson of Davison, MI, and a niece and nephews. She was
preceded in death by her father.
Services will be Monday, April 30, 2007, at 11 am in Hansen-Spear
Funeral Home with Rev. Beth McLaughlin officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 29
from 2- 5pm and Monday from 10am -11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount
Cemetery. Memorials made to Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes Hospital in her name would be
appreciated. |
