Marvin L.Ward , age 32 of 812 N. 22nd, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at 7:29 a.m. in Blessing Hospital.He was born December 19, 1973 in Quincy, Illinois the son of Merle and Bertha Pryor Ward.He graduated from Hannibal High School in 1993. He loved to sing, dance, and play basketball. By faith he was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.Survivors include his mother of Quincy and his father of Hannibal; four sisters: Tammie Williams and Dwayne of Belleville, IL; Monique Harrison and Tony of St. Louis, MO; Shelia Henderson and Drew of Quincy; Monica Fritz and Randy of Pekin, IL; a brother, Anthony Ward of Hannibal, MO; a half brother, Phil Ward of Peoria, IL; five half sisters: Merle Janet Pearson of Austell, GA; Kathy Buckner and Billy of South Carolina; Shelly Knox and Kevin of Peoria, IL; Shanda Smith of Hannibal, MO; and Shakira Mossett and Rodney of Palm Coast, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.Funeral services will be held Monday at 11a.m. in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with the Minister Sean Cotton officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 3-5p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials made to the "Marvin Ward Memorial Fund" at Members First Credit Union would be greatly appreciated. |
