Carol S. Barrett, age 64, of 416 Willow, Payson died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 2:01 am in Blessing Hospital.She was born November 29, 1941 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Harold and Margie Sandman Miller.She was a graduate of Seymour High School in Payson, and was a home health aid in Adams County. Carol was a member of Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ. She loved gardening, bowling, and being with her family.Survivors include three daughters, Gerri Epping and her husband Terry of Payson, IL; Sandra Barrett of Hannibal, MO; Rhonda Cox and her fiance Edward Pannell of Payson, IL; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Miller of Adams, IL, and Richard Miller of IA; a sister, Patricia Reagan and her husband Gene of Quincy, IL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Cindy "Lou" Wolf, and a granddaughter, Stephanie Barrett and a brother Ron Miller.Services will be Saturday, November 4, 2006, at 3:30 pm in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Rev. Wanda Seydel officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 3rd from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials made to West Central Illinois Lung Association or Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ in her name would be appreciated. |
