JoAnn Moore, age 79 of 1811 South 24th, Quincy, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at in Lewis County Nursing Home.She was a 1948 graduate of Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born September 3, 1926 in Linton, IN the daughter of Joseph and Bessie Hale Smith. On December 30, 1946 she married Ivan Moore in Indianapolis, IN.She was a member of First Union Congregational Church, Atlantis and was a volunteer on Blessing Hopsital Women's board.Survivors include her husband, three sons, Garry Moore and his wife Connie, Normal, IL; William Moore and his wife Nancy, Seffner, FL; John Moore, Stone Mountain, GA; two daughters, Patricia Holbrook and her husband Dennis of Quincy, Laura Wright and her husband Jay of Columbia, MO; 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rose.Services will be Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 11:00 am in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Wentzel officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials made to the First Union Congregational Church or the Lewis County Nursing Home in JoAnn's name would be greatly appreciated. |
