Bruce E. Heintz, age 69, Ballwin,
MO died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 1:30 pm in St. John' Mercy Medical Center.
He was born February 25, 1936 in Quincy, Illinois the son of
Fergus and Bonita Urban Heintz. He married Marilyn Jackson on April 4, 1964 in Hamburg,
NY.
Bruce was a 1954 graduate of Quincy High School and a graduate
of Knox College. He was a sales representative for Texon, Inc. for over 30 years, and he
also was a manufacturer's representative for various shoe component companies.
Bruce was a former member of the First Union Congregational
Church, the Quincy Elks Lodge #100, and was a life time St. Louis Cardinal fan. His quick
wit and keen sense of humor will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.
Survivors include his three children, Laura Deal and her husband
Bryan of St. Charles, MO; Kent E. Heintz of Chesterfield, MO; Kristen Ventrillo and her
husband Kevin of Columbia, MO; 6 grandchildren, Delaney and Zachary Deal of St. Charles,
MO; Madeline and Meredith Heintz of Chesterfield, MO; Jacob and Samuel Ventrillo of
Columbia, MO; his brother, Kent Heintz, of Texas, and many nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Connie Heintz.
A memorial service will be Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11 am
in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Burial will be in Paloma Cemetery. Visitation will be
Saturday from 10am - 11am at the funeral home. Memorials made to the Paloma Cemetery
Association in Bruce's name would be greatly appreciated. A casual gathering will be held
Saturday from 5-7 pm at O.B. Clark's, 1921 South Brentwood Blvd., St. Louis, MO.
