Paul J. Light, age 83, of 2130 Harrison, Quincy, died Sunday, April 23, 2006 at 12:35 pm in Blessing Hospital.

He was born August 31, 1922 in Owen County, Indiana the son of Paul Herman and Zena Mae Freeman Light. On January 9, 1943 he married Rosanell Lockhart in Indianapolis, Indiana. She preceded him in death on May 15, 1987.

He was a 1940 graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, and served in the US Navy during WWII. Paul was a Mason for 50 years, and enjoyed reading and gardening.

Survivors include 3 children, Paul A. Light and his wife Pamela of Lexington, KY; Karen Rose Hill and her husband Hybert of Columbus, IN, Jennifer Light Sare and her husband Dave of Bloomington, IN; special friend, Velma Bartlett of Quincy; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, and a sister, June Light Adams, of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
