| Sandra Suhren Goodell, 68,
301 N. 8th, Apt. 309, Quincy, a former resident of Fairfield, Iowa, died Monday, February
12, 2001 at the St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesotta. She was born September 22, 1932 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of John U. and Jean Butler Suhren. On June 17, 1961, she married Russell Goodell in Quincy. He survives. Mrs. Goodell was a 1950 graduate of Quincy High School and a 1954 graduate of Cornell College. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Graf & Co. CPA and taught school in Fairfield, Iowa. She was also employed at the Dallas Chamber of Commerce and as a bookkeeper for Geary, Porter & Donovan Law Firm in Dallas, TX. She returned to Quincy in April 1997. She was a member of Unity Church of Quincy where she managed the Pathway Bookstore. She had sung with the Chicago Symphany Chorus. She was a well known soloist and voice teacher throughout her life. Survivors in addition to her husband are her mother, Jean Suhren, Quincy; a son, Mark Goodell and his wife Sally, Bonita Springs, FL; a daughter, Julie Hahn, Quincy; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Hahn, Rachel Hahn, and Zachery Hahn, all of Quincy; a sister, Sally West, Dallas, TX., 5 cousins, Sharon Butler Logsdon, Quincy, John Pardee, Poway, CA, Stephen Pardee, Summit, NJ, Ann Coffin, Williamsport, PA, and Jane Wierschem, Hazelhurst, WI, a niece Tina West, Dallas TX She was preceded in death by her father. Memorial Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, February 17, at the Unity Church of Quincy, with JoJoe & Pat Kunicki officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Saturday, at the Unity Church of Quincy. Memorial contributions may be made to Unity Church of Quincy .
