| Verna L. McGraw, 61, 27 Country Meadows,
Quincy, died Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at 6:08 pm in Blessing Hospital. She was born January 21, 1940 in Vienna, Missouri, the daughter of Curtis and Velvia Wagner Crider. On May 5, 1970, she married Jack Dale McGraw. He survives. Mrs. McGraw was originally from Fishhook, IL and was a 1958 graduate of Perry High School. She was employed by Motorola, was a foster parent and had day care in her home. Most recently she was a greeter at WalMart. Survivors include her father, Curtis Crider, Quincy; her brother, Leroy Crider, Loraine, IL; 7 children, Larry J. McGraw, Columbus, IL; Elizabeth A. McGraw and Patty L McGraw, both of Quincy; William M. McGraw, Navarre, Florida; James D, McGraw, Quincy; Kimberly S. Baker, Monroe City, MO; Edward D. McGraw, Warner Robins, GA; 13 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Saturday, May 26, at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev. Henry Pratt officiating. Burial in Hersmann Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Illinois. The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm Friday at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to to the family. |
