Dear Viola, George, Marilyn and Speckhart families,
We are saddened with the passing of your outstanding brother and husband. To think of Raymond brings the image of kindness, benevolence, sincerity and giving along with many other positve adjectives that made him special to many. Our hearts go out to you with hopes that the many great memories of a true sportsman and God's Blessings will bring comfort to you at this time.

Mr. Gnuse was a fine Christian gentleman (a life-long Anglican), very devoted to his parish, and to the several communities in which he resided and served. My prayers are for his extended family but also with the "sure and certain hope of the resurrection."

We love you, Uncle Bill. We will always have the memory of Aunt Phyllis and her joy for life in our hearts. I loved my visits with you when I was a young girl. There was so much love and a special sparkle when the two of you were together. I knew that when I got married I wanted that special magic you and Aunt Phyllis always had. Every time I think of her, and it will be often, I will picture her with a huge smile on her face, a twinkle in her eye and she will be lighting up the room she is in. You and your family will be in our prayers.

To Marilyn, Cory, Lori & Stacy~ May you feel God's peace during this time. Even though I only met and visited with Raymond once, it has still been my honor to have done so. Please know that my family and I will be praying for you all during this time.

I will always miss my uncle Raymond. He was such a special uncle to me. When we started canning again, we always went to Uncle Raymond's to get peaches, cherries and whatever else he wanted to give us. Then when I asked for a recipe, he really got a kick out of that! Then when my son started canning , he was really happy about that. He will truly be missed by all the family and his friends - a hardworking soft spoken lovable uncle!

On behalf of our entire family, we extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of this long-time friend. We had many laughs, hunting days that will always be remembered and meals at his home. He was a true nature lover and fine man.

So sorry to learn of your Father and Mother's death. They were such a credit to the human race. Your Mother was one of my best friends when I lived in Quincy. The last time I stopped to see her was asleep and we decided not to wake her and she died shortly after that time. I have much respect for your Father. I know you will miss him.
