About Us

Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Quincy, Illinois

The Spear family has served families in the Quincy area for over 80 years.  We help families of all faiths and cultures Celebrate a Life Well Lived.

Hansen-Spear Funeral Home was built in 1965 as the first full service funeral home in Quincy, Illinois.

We have handicapped parking and a covered carport for use during inclement weather.  The downstairs lounge is open for visitation so that families may rest and have refreshments. There are also children’s books and some toys for children to play with.

Hansen-Spear has the largest casket display room within a 100 mile radius. This allows families to view and choose from a wide variety of caskets in all price ranges.   We also have a Cremation Options room with cremation caskets, urns, keepsakes and other information for those who choose cremation. Our Vault display room shows different types of steel vaults made by Clark Vault Co. and also miniature concrete vaults from Wilbert Vault Co.
